the Start ...

Kristin's Flowers & is built on the belief that it matters what we put in the ground and that native perennials can be offered at affordable prices so everyone can bring what's best for nature into their lives. I believe in grandma flowers, the joy of sunshine and dirt, organic & regenerative practices because - that's where it started why do people pretend it's fancy?
No School like ol' School ~ also known to me, as "the Letcher way".
I.E. : Don't waste good. Materials are what you make of them - and everything broken = materials. There's always room around the table for another hungry tummy. Voices should only be raised in joy and laughter (or safety issue). And - all any of us truly needs, is sunshine and dirt.

Grandpa & I in the Letcher house kitchen, circa 2002.
There's a lot in the world, that we cannot change. But if you take all that "UGH!", and put it in the ground where it belongs - you CAN change the world around you. It's as simple as the right roots down, one neighborly garden delivery of your "extras". The smallest efforts, create strong ripples of good. Thank you Grandpa Sarge, for teaching me the way.
I am working to bring you traditional and new favorites, offered in different stages of growth (and lower price points) as I grow for it, along with, in-the-future: pre-orders of naturalizing trays, culled native plant seeds from right here in Yellow Med, with the intention of being 100% homegrown/harvested by 2027 (no outside purchased holdovers - although - there are many wonderful growers starting some beautiful natives - we may always need a few around for variety supplementation in the neighborhood & I will always try to source specific varieties for folks they can't find, or can't find at an affordable price locally).
Thank you so much for a wonderful start in 2025, I'm so excited to be here with you for season 2, wohoo 2026!
And, as always:
If you wish you had a yard to participate, but for whatever reason, roots into the ground isn't something you can do - you're one of my people not in driving distance - or if outside isn't your nature, PLEASE do click the link below to check out our threadless shop - you can still help - and I appreciate every penny! ~ And it's almost time to put in the caterpillar orders, hopefully, fingers crossed!

Thank you for taking the time to see what I'm up to, 'round this part of the prairie.
