Fall Critters
Seeding work this time of year leads to lots of time on the land. It’s always fun to spend more time with my wild friends. Dani Doe has twins every year. Nice to know they appreciate sunset too Not enough sunshine these days, lights on in the barn to keep it rolling forward. Hopefully some sunshine days sneak into the forecast soon. Happy last week of October! PS - Sweater Weather is here & the hoody’s (or crew neck) are CoZy!! Women’s cut tanks & tees run a lil small - ord

Brisk Sunrise Today
Chilly walk-around this morning. Good solid hard frost all around, really makes the sunshine that much sweeter. Beavers are hard at it. I love natures original conservationist. They have done a fantastic job cleaning the water, all the critters love their work, & boy, they don’t waste a bit of what they take: Hopefully all these beauties get a good blanket of white gold this winter, and a slow spring melt. That would be just lovely - so long as we get a lil more time to fini

Sunday Funday - unplanted? YES - you can bring for holdover
Go get it - that sunshine today. (NO Charge - just completely understand) Everything I sell is a perennial, and they can overwinter without being planted. There is a more likely chance of root / frost damage, but death is tough to reach for these amazing roots. The plastic nursery direct are the m

Good Morning
The people clocks always feel off to me this time of year, like the sun’s late for us… : ) Back to school & sports time always makes me think of the fridge. I still like to put my accomplishments up, fuel for the ‘getting back tuit’ after you close the fridge door motivation. Almost ditch time, if I can get my arm going better: Officially landing ditch pickup from my home-state line past the farm was a 5 year effort, and I so appreciate that awesome Civil Servant Linda stay

Beautiful Fall Planting Weather
Sunshine feels a little extra today, after the rain. Not enough bird time right now, the towhees were through, all the warblers still floating by, kinglets. I’m gonna get my good birdie camera out soon, for some merlin ap time. This lil columbine is so cheerful, I may have to plant it myself. Hazards of this life… The benefit of an unsold bouquet? Fun to enjoy until seeding time: Happy busy bee time

Hoody Weather
When I first started my business in the great ‘Northeast Kingdom’ 3 years ago, I told my mom about how the Audubon used Threadless for this cool ‘Plants for Birds’ fundraising campaign & how I was getting their tank tops as my work uniform in support of their efforts, until the day came, I was selling my own for my ecological efforts… Oh boy ~ forecast says cozy ahead, that winter warning to hurry up.
