False spring weather is such a nice mid-winter break; even though, winter hasn’t really roared yet.

And - the benefit of working ahead to be ready to tackle Monday = more cooking time! I modified my grandmothers winning recipe for a mid-winter treat for mom & me.

It was tasty…

& I think I have to make Chislic Chili next.

I’m surprised we don’t have Chislic commercials round here, just frying it up… “Beef… it’s for snack time too!”

When they toss that last football until later this year - don’t forget beyond the empty screen & completed online draft thingys - outside still exists!!
