the " & " ... Fruits!

(and probably nuts!)

I have always believed there should be a plan, with the backup plan, along with the "if success" plan, and; well, we all know that list could go on and on ~ and if you add land to the plan... well.

American Dreamin' can occupy a lot of mental real estate over the years before you get the chance to swing, best be ready, right?

Kristin's Flower's & is the starting point for all the rest, as I grow and plant interior on the Conservation Farm, stretching the native woodland / wildland adaption style planting for humans and conservation out towards the edges of land stewardship limits.

Future plans include:

Succession Crops Info now in PDF if it works!

Wildland Style Planted Orchards of honey-berries, blueberries, huckleberries, raspberries, elderberries, strawberry's (because Beryl brought them up and they were already on the... how do I add with the bunny's list) with Apples, Pears, Apricot's & Plums dotted throughout.  Cross pollination flavor should be delish, all around.

Heartland Acre's Home-Flown Raw Wildflower Honey (that will come with entertaining stories of how, for some reason visceral afraid of stingy fliers me survives.  I have always loved the Bumbles - my father Tom made sure of that when I was a lil squirt - & Honey's are so wonderful.  I'm going to attempt to overcome my natural instinct to run, for the opportunity to add that beautiful liquid gold to farm offerings - but it will be raw honeycomb cuts, the easiest / lowest cost process, to be able to offer.

I started working towards it by petting the honeybees when they land on my blooms & survived my first wasp sting, packing out of the park this year.  Hopefully I will learn to be friends with them all.

Future Driveway Farmstand:  In addition to being the anchor for the someday U-Pick options I hope to offer, I want to be able to provide some of my other inspiring farmer / maker friends with an additional sales site as well.  Because - if you have to HEAR the traffic, how can we ALL benefit from the traffic, right?

I will be building the base by hand, with my shovel and sticks, so it'll be a bit on this one.  I will ALWAYS still come to Town & be at Markets ~ I don't want the drive to mean less availability for anyone (gas / distance / etc) & I truly enjoy chatting with everyone, customer or just enjoying the day and saying hi.

& - all the other things I can think of, that I should be outside prepping the ground for, or starting, instead of this silly techy, tech time.  Should be good days of sunshine & dirt no matter what.
