This We Do….

The news keeps cutting it short, & like so many other things in life - the start does matter.

The Worldwide Motto of Search & Rescue, town, military, MRA (Mountain Rescue Association) - it’s the same:

This WE do,

So Others Might Live

We. Do.

Because, there is NO such thing as former; and teamwork, can conquer any task. We always have the shovel for that. Sometimes fencing pliers too!

Rise up this Easter. Stretch - stand tall in your humanity, lean in, because out here in America’s Heartland - we never forget:

When the tornados come, we only care - oh thank god nobody's hurt, follow the path - oh no, lost everything, out the truck with bags & the zip locks & the paper towels to help them save what we can.

When it matters - all that matters, is our & our neighbors humanity. Not a one in those moments, cares whose political sign blew away, or what church their wheels sometimes roll to - and that is Americans, at their best.

Climb your mountain.

Lean on your teammates.

One foot, in front of the other.

Often starts in the dark.

Just keep going,

Until the light shines through.
