What a beautiful morning for pheasant opener.

Everybody stay safe & civil out there, the bird numbers seem ridunkculous here, so hopefully it’s a great day outside.

Milkweed Seeding Season so I awalys try to flush some back.

Pesky birds know my hunter safey back in the day was only archery, and take advantage. But, one of these days I get to see the new sportsman’s & then next year will be pheasant pot pie time. Yum.

Until then, this one originally from the Pheasant Hunting Capital of the World, (world’s largest pigeon feeder too!!), is back to fall work, Spring 2026 will be here soon.
