When they start holding on the Land

4 years ago, due to an unfortunate family event, my younger brother John got to visit around thanksgiving & we played guitar until our fingers couldn’t take it, cooked a feast & he and I put out a few pounds of native and heirloom wildflower seeds together, in some our favorite places here at Heartland Acres.
A few popped where we put them, but as always, nature helped move them all over and its been a real joy this summer to get to send him photos - “look they moved from behind the pond but coming up solid along drive, these doing well south old outlet, some blew to the back pasture & oh boy”!
Land seeding always takes time, but when the Aster starts popping up almost knee high - oh that next year…. you’ll see all the roots that have been hiding.
Today is more on land work day, so I’ll try to grab something cool to share from the Beavers work. My friend Mel says I need to make a video & I recently discovered “pause” 😂😂 so maybe I can get something cute.
Last time I checked below the old outlet, I startled a Beaver who ran off & lit a rooster.
