a May Day for Sure

Evidence of a new baby bird in the 'hood today, the first egg shell I had seen this year so, wohoo!

The Native Columbine are blooming left & right so hopefully folks are starting to see that lovely color on the ones they've taken home. I seeded out some other Columbine varieties today including a Blue & White McKenna (William) and a Black Barlow (Ryan), culled from last year, along with Rudbeckia and Coreopsis.

Trying to fill all the easy-to-set beds for the new plant babies so I can start getting more fenced for in-ground planting.

Since I have a bunch of out of dormancy to pot out, plus of course those Elderberry cuts, I figured I'd add some Willow too. Have to go grab the Nankin Cherry cuts in the morning.

Getting in the swing of Spring.
