America 250 & the upcoming 25th of 9/11
As I was closing it down last night, the wet flag on my tree limb flag pole billowing in the darkness hit my heart in a way I felt necessary to share.
Looking back on the most monumental moments in my life, 4 decades in, I truly am grateful for Mr. Osborne & his rhubarb (he got such a kick out of watching me excitedly eat it raw), being in Letcher with Grandma & Grandpa when the call about my mountain climbing hero Uncle Klaus was lost to an avalanche in the Himalayas in 1994 (and my later Search & Rescue time inspired by and in honor of him and his climbing group), and having Paramedic Fire Fighter Tory down the block growing up.
Community matters, more than about anything else, and we are all neighbor's, some just closer than others.
Never forget. ❤️
My 2 cents, should you care to know:
Forward is this way —> lets go. Together.
I hope you like fruit.
