I'd blame the unseasonable heat; but, I'm always corny. Something to do with being from the town of the World's Largest Pigeon Feeder I believe.
Working on splits, when I get a little shade later, more potting up.
Also going to try & change one of my white board signs over to pricing - great idea, thank you facebook comment and duh Kristin ... 🤦‍♀️
for those whom I have not yet gotten to meet, pricing is:
Any / All Varieties Perennial Flowers (think: yarrow, bee balm, milkweed, cone flowers, sedum's, etc, what grandma had in her garden) priced off size, all Zone 3 - 4 & mostly native.
Either Seeded Here or Outdoor Grown Up & Winter Held Over, right here in Yellow Med.
Largest, about a gal / 1.5: $16
Medium: $14
Small Standard (close to #1 pot): $12

Then geranium pot size / smaller deep round from 2- 3 year growing root splits, plug trays, box beds but not larger size roots yet: $6 - $8
if / when I have self-seeding annuals / herb / veggie hail insurance plants to offer: they will be clearly marked as such and $5 - $8.
If you take the plant out & bring back the pot, $1 back or off the next for helping keep costs low.
Cut Flowers - when they grow out: run $8 - $20, ONLY because folks bring back vases to be re-used, price based off of size. Cut-to-Call when available is the same price, have a few larger vases set back for Special Events / Life Moments if they come, to hold a $30 bouquet.
I truly want you to be able to have some cheerful in your house, that can be tossed in the garden for future blooms / pollinators / tea / wildlife food, at affordable prices while the good roots grow in and get settled, and then you can just cut your own.
Shrub & Tree Pricing will be $6 - $8 higher depending on growth / size, but trying not to exceed $25 for any single set of roots, if possible.
I am watching the weather. Possibly coming tomorrow (Sat) mid-morning to afternoon.
Sorry it’s such a bumpy Spring with the weather impacting availability & CONGRATS to all the local graduates, near & far ! 🎉
Well done & happy next step 🌼🌸🌻
