Hopefully this wind blows in some moisture. Perennials crawling out on all sides. I haven’t done the spring dig out yet - as rains haven’t settled in here yet & some dips ahead - but, beautiful new growth coming to brighten the days. Momma Lucy-Goose is on it - but no little fluffers… yet.

I’m so excited about watching the Queen of Prairie grow out. One of the reasons I love perennials - their ability to thrive in the Spring weather cycles. In the midst of the 70’s / snowflakes, the Larkspur & Columbine are pushing up & fluffing out, the honeyberries are just smiling, who cares about the temperature, 11 hours of light?! We’re growing! What a beautiful Friday! Signs of Spring all around, Lucy-Goose already on the next additions at Heartland, front side flagging under way for future pasture fence, & the Columbines, Yarrow, Sedum, Shrubs, Fruits, & Allium all growing for it. Plus - go Cam go (my guy doing well at golf for break time check ins). Tick #1 - wohoo Sure seems like it’s gonna be a buggy summer. I rolled thru a -too fancy for me - car wash yesterday. It kept flashing at me to relax… um, I’ll skip the space car wash so I can next time 😂☺️ & the 2024 Amaryllis are still delighting us. Hopefully I’ll have some to offer this Christmas time, they have been wonderfully reliable.
